Are we not men and women of true grit? There's a saying in the oil patch if you are not drilling a few dry holes you are not drilling for oil. Ladies and Gentlemen no one wants to drill a duster but many times it gives you a valuable, intregal and prolific pieces of the puzzle. Of course, drill holes tell you that place on that particular spot of a given property is not commercially oil productive. But it often tells you just where to find the oil you're looking for. If the productive oil sand is becoming thicker and appears to be ranging from east to west than you may just be one location away from productive wells. It could tell where the regional dip is and where a new field is developing. It may bring light to a productive oil zone that no one in that locality knew existed or ever produced. As disheartening as a dry hole can be you can either let it become a finality or a new beginning. Every new beginning comes from an ending. The fact is dry hole information can make you a fortune if you choose to use the information wisely.

Good luck to all of us.
